MIROSLAV TADIĆ AND YVETTE HOLZWARTH

Using Balkan folkloric music as a framework, Miroslav Tadić (guitar) and Yvette Holzwarth (violin) bring their rich histories of listening and playing music – providing windows into Baroque, Flamenco, Arabic, Brazilian, Blues and Americana.

“…a breakthrough guitarist who is extremely individualistic, devoted to adding new words, phrases and dialects to the language of guitar.”
– Guitar Player Magazine (USA)

“Two world-class musicians that are knitting a magical musical fabric.”
– Zlatko Gall, mixer.hr (Croatia)

PROGRAM

Arrangements, compositions, and improvisations largely based on Balkan folklore. Macedonia, Brazil, Dalmatia, Romania, California, and Andalusia are a few stations on this colorful journey.
